TSCP PKI Bridge Service.
The TSCP Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Bridge Service operates under the authority of the TSCP Bridge Certification Authority (TBCA) to facilitate interoperability among PKI domains. Cross-certifying to the TSCP PKI Bridge Service ensures that certificates issued by its members can be used at multiple levels of assurance (LOAs), including the highest (LOA 4), providing a common basis for trust during transactions. The TBCA enables interoperability among PKI domains in a peer-to-peer fashion. The TBCA issues certificates only to those certificate authorities (CAs) designated by the entity operating that PKI (called “Principal Certificate Authorities”). The US Federal Bridge serves as the anchor of trust for the TSCP Bridge.
