This is the area that published presentations, white papers and publicly accessible technical information will be available for download.
TSCP is made up of a number of Target Collaborative Capabilities (TCC’s) and supporting workstreams.
Secure email
Testing technology and processes to enable secure email using PKI and trust bridges. The UK MoD will be rolling this out from April 2008 as part of the DII programme. The DoD are starting testing in September.
Document Sharing and Identity Federation
Testing and approving technology and processes for enabling sharing of information for example with secure collaborative environments and federated Identity Management enabling access to information based on identity profiles and strength of credential.
Policy/Data
This group focuses on developing a data model and associated identity & access management rules needed by participants companies in the support of compliance with regulatory policies such as Export Control. As an example this group identifies the Identity Federation Profiles that are required to support an access decision including elements such as employer name, citizenship and defines the provisioning and life cycle management rules for these elements as well as how the information about these elements are used in a Identity Federation model.
Audit
This group focuses on developing guidelines that will assist the TSCP Governance role, in the following areas:
- a) Compliance and operational audits procedures that are needed to provide assurance to the International Defense agencies
- b) Identification of qualifications that are required of an auditor/assessor who will be conducting the assessments
- c) The Audit framework that addresses elements such as frequency of audits, audit artifacts, audit methodologies etc.
