Secure E-mail

Despite its speed and convenience, the worldwide use of Internet-enabled e-mail has exposed businesses in every sector to malicious hacking, including key-logging, spamming, spoofing and phishing. These pose deadly risks to industry and commerce by instigating unauthorized access to businesses’ physical and logical assets, and threatening to steal or corrupt our data, our intellectual property.

Within Aerospace and Defense (A&D) sector companies and government organizations, much of the e-mail traffic is commercially sensitive and/or protected by national security or export controls and must be protected against Internet eavesdropping.

TSCP is addressing these security concerns with Secure E-mail v.1, which:

  • Ensures the confidentiality of e-mail content between sender and recipient by making it possible to encrypt it, and
  • Authenticates the identity of the sender with a digital signature.
