The aerospace and defence (A&D) industry is increasingly global. Customers, partners and suppliers span geographies like never before. And unique to the sector, partners on one project may in fact be competitors on another.
Competitive sensitivities, disparate customer requirements and government-enforced mandates governing the sharing of intellectual property make robust strategy and infrastructure for information-sharing critical to mission accomplishment.
While some A&D programs have overcome these issues on a project basis, relying on standalone solutions confuses customers and ultimately is unsustainable for the industry.
TSCP is committed to finding broad-based approaches to the obstacles to information-sharing in today’s global A&D environment with:
- Standards-based interoperable specifications for controlled, secure information sharing
- A forum for A&D solutions providers to determine new specifications with international government organisations and key suppliers
- An open library of secure specifications – spreading the adoption of new standards well beyond A&D
